There are several ways you can help improve the lives of our seniors:
Donate
Donations given through the ERH website provide supplemental services to residents living in HUD affordable housing. HUD provides a safe and sanitary environment for low-income seniors, but it takes private funding to give residents the “extras” like spiritual services, exercise and wellness programs, social and cultural opportunities, and many more perks that greatly improve the quality of life for seniors.
When you donate, you will have a choice as to how your donation may be used. Please consider how you wish your donation to be put to work.
Please know that information provided to the "We Should Do Better" campaign will not be given to any third party or shared in any other way.
Volunteer
Help at one of our affordable housing communities. There are any number of ways you can contribute to enriching seniors' lives, such as:

- sharing a craft or hobby

- assisting with events and outings

- reading books and newspapers to residents who cannot, or simply visit and talk one-on-one for an hour or two.

Advocate
Let your legislators know how you feel about the need for affordable housing for seniors and offer suggestions on how we can do better for our seniors.
And when you call or write, let us know what you've sent or said so we can follow up with you and see what kind of response you receive.
